This is the Trend Micro generic detection for email messages that exploit a known vulnerability in Internet Explorer based email clients, including Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Outlook Express. This vulnerability causes Internet Explorer to automatically run an executable file attachment when a user opens an infected email message.

This malware, by itself, has no destructive routine, but it may execute a destructive file attachement. It affects systems running Internet Explorer versions 5.01 and 5.5.
