Description: 

This is the Trend Micro detection for batch files that are used by other malware in thier routines. The batch file may contain any or a combination of the following functions:

  • Checks for the presence of certain files
  • Copies files
  • Creates folders
  • Executes other malware
  • Terminates certain processes

It drops copies of itself in all removable drives, together with an AUTORUN.INF file to automatically execute dropped copies when the drives are accessed.

It searches for and infects files with several extensions. The infected file is bundled with this malware as a RAR file with a .EXE extension.
