Description:
This malicious JavaScript may be hosted on a Web site and run when a user accesses the said Web site.
It takes advantage of the following known vulnerabilities to download malicious files on the affected system:
It also takes advantage of unknown vulnerabilities to download malicious files. Upon exploiting the said vulnerabilities, it accesses a Web site to download and execute a malicious file detected by Trend Micro as BKDR_AGENT.AHCO. This malicious JavaScript then executes the downloaded file(s). As a result, malicious routines of the downloaded backdoor are exhibited on the affected system.
