Description: 

This unsolicited adware usually arrives in an email stating that the target user has received a Valentine's Day e-card. Instead of reaching target systems as an email attachment, it is installed and executed on the system when the user downloads the virtual Valentine's Day card from a certain Web site. The link to this Web site is provided in the email message.

A sample of the email message that this Trojan arrives with are as follows:

On February of 2003, an email message has been sent out to a number of target users by the TROJ_CUPIDCARD.A. The sample of this email message have a Subject You have been sent a Valentine's Day E-Card!

It is only when the user clicks the link in the Web page that this adware program is installed on the system.

Note that the installation and execution of this adware on the target system does not come with proper End-User License Agreement.
