Malware Overview

This Trojan may be downloaded from remote sites by other malware. It may be also be dropped by other malware.

It arrives masquerading as Trend Micro Virus Clean Tool with a Trend Micro logo as shown below:

It drops files detected as BKDR_POISON.GO. It also drops the original Virus Clean Tool.

It then executes the dropped file(s). As a result, malicious routines of the dropped backdoor are exhibited on the affected system.
