Description:
This Trojan may be downloaded from remote site(s) by other malware. It may arrive bundled with malware packages as a malware component. It may be downloaded unknowingly by a user when visiting malicious Web site(s).
It connects to a certain Web site to download and save a fake antivirus program. It then executes the downloaded file. Trend Micro detects the said file as TROJ_SPYWAD.BC. As a result, routines of the downloaded Trojan are also exhibited on the affected system.
