This macro virus is a variant of W97M_BABLAS, and infects documents opened and closed in MS Word 97, 2000, XP, and also the Normal Template. It infects files by intercepting the following automacros:

  • Autoopen
  • Fileclose
  • Filesave
  • Fileopen

It runs on Windows 95, 98, ME, NT, 2000 and XP.
