Malware Overview

This worm may be downloaded unknowingly by a user when visiting malicious Web sites.

It is also reported to arrive via Advanced Design Systems digital photo frames.

It disables Automatic Windows Update. As a result, once updates are released, affected users are unable to get Windows updates automatically. It modifies registry entries to hide files with both System and Read-only attributes.

It drops copies of itself in all physical and removable drives.

It terminates processes and downloads possibly malicious files from the Internet.
